Welcome To KyleRockinRowland

According to Mick Martin:

"Kyle is the rarest of musicians: a natural. When I heard him at the Jazz Jubilee, me on stage and Kyle in the audience, I expected to see a grown man when I asked him to stand up. I was speechless at the sight of a youngster who understood the blues so well. No one would expect a 10-year-old to have his finesse and understanding of when to play and not to play. When James Cotton had Kyle sit in on "Got My Mojo Working," someone yelled out, "Not bad for a white boy." Cotton was so angry by what the well-intentioned fan had said, he grabbed the mic and said, "I ran away from home when I was nine to live with Sonny Boy Williamson and wasn't anywhere as good as this boy. The blues isn't black, it isn't white, it isn't green -- it's a feeling and this boy's got it!"

"To that, all I can say is - Amen."

"I think Kyle plays really well. He must be reincarnated and played
professionally in another life."

"When I first saw Kyle, a few years ago, I was amazed at his talent and stage personality.  I have been watching him grow as a musician, and a person.  It's a pleasure to know him and be on stage with him."

Here's a 1 minute clip I recorded at my home studio in July, 2007 of Kyle playing by himself.
You can hear Mick Martin's influence. He taught him well.
